Bandits is a family club and over 280 families have been associated with Bankstown Sports Bandits Softball Club since its inception 21 years ago. The Bandits have a strong base at club level (currently around 270 players, members and officials)with an increasing number of players gaining representative honours in Association, State and National squads. With mixed teams ranging from T-Ball (under 8) up to the State League (Division 1) and Waratah League (Division 2) Mens and Womens teams, Bandits are now able to offer players and officials competition experience and development at various levels. The objectives of the Bankstown Sports Bandits Softball Club Incorporated are provided in our constitution and include, in particular, the encouragement of physical fitness; skill development with enjoyment through participating and mixing and; the provision of training and progression opportunities for players, coaches and officials. A further objective is to actively promote junior players in order to maximise the development of softball in the region, to ensure a strong basis for future teams.
